I can still hardly believe that the semester is almost over! It always amazes me how fast winter semester goes--I guess it's partly because we only have two holidays and BYU does not have spring break.
But my schooling is not ending when the semester does. I am staying up here for spring/summer. I need to if I want to graduate in a timely manner; changing my major and having an internship for this entire school year has delayed graduation a little bit. I love my major and I have loved my internship, so it's all worth it. I'm supposed to graduate in August 2009--not the April 2009 that I wanted, but that's fine. My friends say that graduating on time is overrated. Well, I don't want to stay in Utah for longer than I have to. I'm sick of snow.
I have learned so much this school year. This year was probably the hardest for me on many levels. The lessons I've learned have made it all worth it. But I hope never to be in those particular situations ever again :)
I am also grateful. I am grateful for the lessons I've learned. I am grateful for friends who have helped. I am grateful for my family--I have a lot of extended family close by this year, and they have helped me through so much. Above all, I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who gave me the strength to pass through my trials. It was hard to put my trust in him, but I am glad I have.
On another note, I get to see my mom and brother Paul tomorrow night. I'm buying a laptop for him and they'll come by to pick it up.
