It's finals time, whoopee. I'm tired, slightly grumpy, and stressed. I've gotten three finals down, and two more to go. The finals I've got done are Orchestra, Music 101, and ELANG 327 (Phonology and Phonetics). Maybe orchestra doesn't count because my "final" was my concert, which was almost a month ago. I took my Music 101 exam yesterday and I was pleased with the results. ELANG was...meh. I love English Language, it's just that I didn't care much for this class. I just didn't find it that interesting.
The finals I have left: Editing and LDS Temples. For my editing class, I have to turn in a portfolio, which I am somewhat close to being done with. I'm hoping to finish it today and then turn it in to my professor's office on Monday. My Temples final is scheduled for Tuesday morning, and I'm not worried about that one. Then it's getting my stuffed moved into the new apartment right across the hall from my current one, getting ready for cleaning checks, and then I go home on Wednesday for a few days before spring term starts. That's one of the few things that's keeping me from ripping my hair out right now.
So, this week has been interesting. A bunch of girls I know got engaged this week. I received two wedding announcements. I went to my cousin's bridal shower. And I went to the mall with a girl in my ward so she could show her roommate and me some engagement rings she likes, since she and her boyfriend are talking about getting married.
And, how long has it been since my last date? Geez. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for these girls, but wow, it's hard not to feel a little bit left behind.
