Almost two weeks ago, I signed a contract with Park Plaza for fall/winter of next year. Today, I paid the deposit and will officially be living there next fall! Now I need to tell Glenwood that I'm not staying on for fall/winter--I renewed my contract so I would have a safety net. I've enjoyed living in Glenwood for as long as I have and will be living there this summer, but after that, I feel like it's time to move on. I was planning on moving to Riviera this spring, but they were being really stupid about the move-in date and since I hadn't paid the deposit, I told them that I wouldn't live there after all.
Park Plaza is really close to campus, which is nice because I don't own a car. The rent is very reasonable too! $255 (with utilities) for a four-person apartment. I like knowing that I'll only have three other roommates to deal with. I know that there is only one bathroom for four girls, but after this year, I think I can live with just about anything. At least it's not six girls to one bathroom. Yikes! Park Plaza also has a reputation for being social and down-to-earth, which I really like.
